The Milan Junior Camps are summer holidays for youths.
They are organized by A.C.Milan and management is entrusted
to local parties (the so-called managers) who handle everything
themselves on site but ever under the constant control of
the competent offices of the red & black soccer club.
Since 2002, Sporteventi - the sports association headquartered
in Vittorio Veneto and directed by Pietro Marchioni - is one
of the MJC benchmark organizations.
Indeed, the red & black soccer club awarded the
organization its top recognition in 2002 and 2003: "Best
MJC organization and promotion" award.
The Milan Junior Camps are week-long holidays where
kids stay with other kids: it is a holiday focused on soccer
(with the aid of selected coaches and supervisors send directly
from Milan) and yet it is not only soccer.
It is not a week of rigid training, nor is it a week that
will turn one into a champion.
Rather it is a week of fun; it is a time for kids to live
together, a time to learn the rules of sports and get a good,
healthy education in community living.
The MJCs are open to boys and girls of any nationality
between the ages of 6 and 15.
